Starting situation
The startup Yobst plans to open a self-service container in July 2024, where end customers can purchase agricultural products directly from the producer.
Project Objective
The aim was to conceive and design a product world that encompasses all areas of the customer journey, from sales software for farmers to landing pages and POS systems.
Result
A research-based, methodological approach with a high degree of flexibility compared to the project requirements in order to meet the target group of producers and consumers as well as the agile project structure of a start-up environment.
Our tasks
Kick-Off Workshop
In a kick-off workshop, all stakeholder requirements were collected and proto-personas and usage contexts were defined, which form the basis for our concept.

Sales Software
Based on the usage requirements that had been identified, we designed a distribution solution for the growers that would facilitate their own organisation as well as communication and logistical management with Yobsti. These designs/prototypes were then tested with farmers.
Website and Design Library
For the customer communication, we developed a landing page and a blog, as well as an elaborate design library, based on the framework used, as well as a suitable icon set.

POS system and signage
For the on-site shop container, we designed the self-service POS system, as well as price tags and brand communication on site.
